Cheesy Pretzel Dogs

I am addicted to Auntie Anne's Cheesy Pretzel Dogs but 2 for $6 is too expensive (that's promotion price too) so I looked up some pretzel recipes and made my own.  The pretzels are not as soft as Auntie Anne's but they were yummy nonetheless :)

Ingredients:

8 hot dogs

Directions:

1. Follow the instructions as provided in the link above unless noted below.

2. Instead of shaping your typical pretzel, wrap the pretzel dough around a hot dog, just like Auntie Anne's.

3. Add cheddar cheese after you brush the egg wash on the dough and bake for ~20 minutes or when the cheese turns golden brown.

4. I had enough left to make 2 regular pretzels!
