With much debate, we decide to go to one last stop of the day, Wang Kou (汪口). Maybe we were let down at Jiang Wan, I wasn't expecting much of Wang Kou so I was pleasantly surprised and glad we made the stop. There is not much to see other than the river flowing through the village but with the beautiful sunset and breezy weather, it makes Wang Kou a worthy stop! (I would also personally recommend getting your rafting experience here versus Rainbow Bridge or Moon Bay, it's prettier here in my opinion.)

Finally back to Li Keng. Most people left the area already as most of them come to Wuyuan for a weekend trip. Gone is the craziness~ Again, I highly recommend staying inside the village compared the town. The guesthouse we stayed at served fantastic food just like all the other reviewers have said already. Avoid peak season if you can as the rates are at least double, if not triple what it normally costs. Spring is definitely the highlight but I heard the fall is very pretty here as well with the maple leaves and all. August is the time to come if you like pears. Their pears are so limited none are exported! Love everyone I've met during this trip. Villagers are much friendlier although they can come off as unabashed. It just takes some understanding and tolerance.

Off to Mount Sanqingshan (三清山) next, a well-known Taoist mountain. It's been known as the Little Huangshan (小黃山) due to it's proximity to Huangshan and similarities of the scenery. I know I have been slow in my updates as of late but stay tuned.
